Tristin & Larry: The Engagement Session

Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

When Tristin was asked what she wanted to do for her engagement session, she said that she’s absolutely in love with the idea of pictures with fireworks.   When Larry proposed to Tristin, he set off fireworks on the beach.  Pictures of this will always remind her of that very special night!  So~ to reinact that special day, we took a stroll around Daytona’s Beachside and celebrated their engagement under the night sky!

Judy & Craig: The Wedding Day

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

This gorgeous couple tied their vows in a fairytale look-alike church “Chapel in the Garden” in Port Orange.  The reception however was in the LPGA International, also a stunning location.  The guests shared a laugh and a glass of champagne as the bright sun, set over the green horizon.  We’re really glad that we were able to be there to capture the moments which the couple with rejoice for the rest of their lives.

Memories of Summer ‘08

Friday, August 15th, 2008

Hey friends-

After many months of snatching the “good” camera equipment from Greg to capture pictures of the kids, I decided it was time that I invested in a small, inexpensive version to carry around for my own personal self expression.  So a week after Aiden’s birth- I stopped into Circuit City and picked up this snappy Canon.  It’s lightweight, and I think, does a pretty good job.  I love it!  No matter where we are, I’ve managed to get some cute shots of the kids.  After much delay, I’ve decided to add some of the great memories from this past summer to our blog.  I expect family & friends will love the images, but I wanted to show that I have a few things up my creative sleeve too (Note my slight obsession with feet– I’m amazed at how they grow!).

The kids will remember lots of things from this summer- but for me, the following will stick in my mind: the girls running around our backyard, seeing Aiden’s first facial expressions, dance recitals, baseball games, turning THIRTY!!, swimming pools, hot tubbing, Ronin Sushi, summer camps, amusement parks and many, many, many wonderful trips to the beach– with many happy weddings mixed in between.  Good times!

Love, Corrine

Aiden wasn’t enjoying the camera as much as the girls!

but he is very peaceful too…

Avery was quite the performer in her very first dance recital.  She did the moves great– and sang the tunes louder then the rest of the girls in her class.  Perhaps she should be a vocalist instead!?  It was cute…

Greg coached the Pirates for the second year… Baseball season can seem endless!

Thank God for the playground….

I have two of the most excellent swimmers… They absolutely love Gramma Lauri’s pool and hot tub.  Watch out Michael Phelps!

Aiden likes hot tubbing already!

Heather & Jaime: The Wedding Day

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008

Heather is such a sweet girl– one of the nicest people we’ve both met.   More than anything, she wanted gorgeous pictures of the day she marries her man, Jamie.  I think that her wish came true… what do you think?

Chapel in the Garden was a beautiful backdrop for their 8-8-08 wedding…

Red Roses are always a classic compliment to a classically beautiful bride…

This is one of our favorite shots from the departure!  Bubbles! Photo fav!

Jamie is in the navy– so he dressed the part of a true Top Gun!

When you look at this image can you guess what song these guys are singing.  C’mon its also a re-enactment of a classic cinema moment.  He sang the Righteous Brothers “Bring back that lovin feeling…ooooh that lovin feelin….” for Heather to serenade her with his best buds and the entire room began singing together, what a moment.  Way to go Jamie.

Jamie and Heather are both Alabama fans and their cake reflected their love for their team.  It’s a clever cake… we loved it!  ROLL TIDE

August 10th Bridal Show~ Thanks for stopping by!

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

A special thanks to the many, many local brides & grooms that enjoyed the afternoon to come to the PWG Bridal Show at the Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center.   It was great to meet and chat with many of you about your upcoming ‘09 & yes, 2010 nuptials!  We are both looking forward to working with you on your upcoming weddings.

If you would like to set up a consultation at our beachside studio, there are two ways to do this.  1) Fill out the contact form found under LINKS at the top of this blog or 2) Give us a ring @ 386.255.9594.  This past 2008 summer wedding season was quite a busy one for us– so we expect that 2009 will be no different.  Dates tend to fill up quickly after the shows, so please do not hesitate to set up a consultation if you are interested.  There are many popular 2009 spring & summer dates that have already been reserved thus far.  And remember, we only do one wedding a day, so the early bird catches the worm!

Note: For the Winter 2008  brides that are just getting started– there are still a few dates available.  So for all you slackers out there (you know who you are!!)– you still might be in luck! Give us a jingle and we can sit down and chat about all the Details!

Again, congratulations on your engagement– and we look forward to meeting each of you!  Thanks for stopping by our blog too!
