Cassie & Rob: The Engagement Session

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

We were introduced to this couple at the Bridal Fantasy Show at the World Golf Village this past Fall.  We had an instant connection, we knew right away that Cassie & Rob were going to have an amazing event that we would very much ENJOY being a part of.  Their wedding will be at the St. John’s Golf & Country Club in Jacksonville this Spring– and we’re thrilled to visit a new venue and also work with a wonderful couple!

These two high school sweethearts moved to Tallahassee, Florida together  (from New York) to together to attend FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY– yes, which Greg loves…. I LOATHE!!  As a Gator alumni– it sure does make for an interesting meeting when these two houses collide.  While Greg, Cassie and Rob were doing the chop– and I did a fierce chomp!

To Cassie and Rob- we are looking forward to your amazing event!  It is going to be loads of fun and we can’t wait to take some beautiful pictures of you both!

All the best– Corrine & Greg

Wendy & Geoff: The Engagement Session

Sunday, October 25th, 2009

Wendy & Geoff are hilariously wonderful!   I had the pleasure of finally meeting them this past Sunday during our floral consultation to discuss their flowers for their February nuptials in Savannah, Georgia– we had many, many great laughs.  I know their wedding will be not only beautiful– but full of love, perfect moments and great friends.

Greg photographed them at Bulow Gardens a couple of weeks ago– I know, I know… I’m catching up!  Pheww!  Their pictures turned out wonderful and I’m excited to put together a beautiful engagement book for them.  I’ll post that in a couple of weeks.  Until then, keep smiling… keep shining… and ENJOY EACH OTHER!!! :)

Cheryl & Brandon: On Holiday in St. Augustine

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

The Oldest City was the place to be on Sunday.  Tourists from around the world were basking in the sunshine and whisking from here to there on tour buses and horse drawn carriages on this beautiful afternoon.  I was so psyched to have moved our appointment till late afternoon and I swear there was a hint of Fall in the air.  Its exciting to have a photo shoot in public.  I was just getting to know Cheryl and Brandon so we did a little walking tour of the historical areas on our way to the fort, shooting pictures at various photo opts and alley ways on our way.  The oldest European founded city in the US draws quite a crowd of tourists on Labor Day Weekend, so I told them to act like they were the only people in the world-besides me of course.  Even though we had never met, I felt comfortable enough to joke with Brandon about his love of being photographed, and that he had none.  And Cheryl was so super cute bringing Brandon out of his shell.  These two compliment each other so nicely, and it was my pleasure to spend some time photographing them.

Stephanie & Jeff: The Engagement Session

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

When Stephanie & Jeff joined us at The Adventure Boat Club ramp to start off on their engagement session, the rain was just beginning to fall.  Immediately, we could sense the disappointment– as we all wanted to head off on a boat ride to disappearing island and capture some fun shots of the two of them.  Stephanie looked at Jeff and said, “Maybe we should reschedule??”  Well, Greg was not going to let that happen.  “That’s part of the adventure, Stephanie!  Let’s go anyway and just have a trip!”  And with that, Greg, Stephanie, Jeff  and I headed off in a Seadoo Jet Boat, towards disappearing island, not really sure what was in store for the afternoon.  Rain or shine– we were going to take some pics.

Well, as luck would have it (and Greg’s keen sense of weather patterns) the skies parted and the sunshine found it’s way in.  And what a beautiful day!  Stephanie and Jeff had such a great time.  They totally committed to the day, the experience and the joy of being in love.  Before we knew it, they were diving into the mud and throwing each other in the sea.  It was a great, fun time for everyone!  We were so happy to share a great boat trip with a wonderful couple!  We are really looking forward to their February wedding at Sunset Harbor Yacht Club.  I can’t wait to get some beautiful pictures of Ballerina Stephanie in her pointe shoes.  Many great pictures yet to be had.

Until then, here’s a few of our favorites from the day at Sea!      xoxo   -Corrine

Celine, Matt & Vegas!!: The Engagement Session

Monday, August 17th, 2009

Oh how we love Celine and Matt!  We had such a great time meeting with them to discuss their wedding plans for November at LPGA– and we’re thrilled when they reserved our services!  After sitting down to get to know them more and more, we discovered that Celine and Matt have their own horse, Vegas!  They invited us to their home for their engagement shoot– and asked us to bring our darling kids with us.  Of course, Avery was beyond thrilled and Amelia was excited too!

Their home is perfectly nestled within the city, where horses and farms are allowed and encouraged.  With lush greenery and huge trees throughout the property– it is a wonderful place to call home.  Every little girls dream– a horse right out your bedroom window!  (I found myself searching for a guest bedroom.)

Now, Celine and Matt are really great– but Vegas was a dream.  Such a sweet and lovable creature.  He seemed to crave human companionship– and if he didn’t have Celine, I think the horse would weep.  He would follow Celne to the ends of the Earth– and  he welcomed our kids without pause.  Before too long, Vegas was trotting Ave and Amelia around the pasture too.  What fun for everyone!  We had a great time hanging with you guys– and are looking forward to your winter wedding spectacular.  It will be gorgeous!

Mike & Andrea: The Engagement Session

Saturday, August 15th, 2009

With each of our photography packages, we ALWAYS include an engagement session.  It’s the perfect way to spend some time together– out of the office– and really get to know two people through the lens of the camera.   And for the bride & groom, the engagement session is a necessity!  We really believe that it is so important to find a photographer that you are completely comfortable with– and also to remember that besides each other– your photographer is the person you are going to be spending a HUGE amount of time with at your actual wedding– so you better REALLY like them!  Greg is about as easy going as it gets– and he always manages to filter in some good laughter between the moments of romance shared between his clients.  For us, the engagement session is a really great time to let loose, be yourself and get some fantastic photos of the couple of the moment!  We love these intimate sessions.  It’s fantastic to see the love shared between two individuals– and capturing that through the lens of your camera is a real treat.

When Mike and Andrea came into the city for a mini-vacation, we decided to get together to have their engagement session at a few different locations throughout the city– we didn’t let inclement weather patterns stop our photo session fun.  They were a complete pleasure– and it was easy to see that they were wild about each other.  From sharing a laughs in Ormond Memorial Gardens… to letting loose in the sun at the beach, it was a great day spent with NEW friends.  We are really looking forward to their wedding this Fall at The Daytona Beach Hilton Resort.  Andrea will be a gorgeous bride– and Mike will be the dashing groom.  We’re really looking forward to all of the special moments to come.

All the best to you both!  Enjoy!

Meet Pam and Brendan

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

Dodging raindrops this time of year is nothing new in Florida–luckily we picked a great day for an outdoor shoot with a fun, inspiring couple. Pam and Brendan’s Wedding is early this fall and taking place near the beach. When collaborating to decide on a great location to shoot their engagement session, we decided to head to the Ormond Memorial Gardens and The Casements– near the new ROCKEFELLER GARDENS. I always enjoy photographing a couple for the first time and getting to know more about them aside from the time we spend in the office chatting about their day. Pam and Brendan were really great and had a lot of fun energy throughout their shoot. I’m definitely looking forward to their wedding at The Shores Resort this coming September. Can’t wait to see you guys– it will be here before you know it!

Kendall & Trevor!!

Friday, July 10th, 2009

We had a ton of laughs and a beautiful evening at the beach when we shot the engagement images last Friday.  Kendall and Trevor were in town for the 4th and it seemed like a severe thunderstorm might interupt our plans.  But thanks to weather.com, I could see there was plenty of blue sky and puffy-white clouds in store for later in the day, we modified our start time to keep us dry.  And finished just before the next line of storms came.  It was fun.
