Sorry for the absence of my blog postings… life has just been super busy and I’ve been neglecting my blogging ritual!  I’ve got some exciting things to unveil in the coming weeks… so stay tuned.

Until then, check out this wonderful engagement book that was designed for Jennifer & Adam’s wedding– this weekend!  It’s a great book for guests to sign at your wedding– sort of like a slam book from back in the junior high days.  Here are a few of the pages– I love it!

Bridal Fantasy Show– it was the place to be!

Friday, September 4th, 2009

Can we tell you how much we love doing bridal shows!!??  Both Greg and I enjoy great opportunities to display our work in front of real brides.  As always, the August 30th Bridal Show in Jacksonville this past weekend was an awesome show!!  Tons of wonderful vendors and we met many, many fantastic brides.   We loved our booth– which display a unique royal table of Ivory & Black Damask with beautiful pink florals.  Greg’s pictures were great.  In addition to our table, we also created the tablescape for the Casa Monica– it was my favorite.  Greg named it “Floral Reef” — which was completely appropriate!  It included beautiful pink & white hydrangea, Ravel Roses, Tropical Amazon Roses, & real white coral reef!  Beautiful!  Lots of wonderful feedback on this design!  The linens were Ivory Bengaline with Persimmon Lamour.  The bamboo chargers brought it together perfectly for an amazing outdoor reception–our inspiration was poolside at the Historic Casa Monica!  Beautiful spot– this would be perfect!

Making over America: Premieres tomorrow!!

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

We were thrilled to create florals for an episode of “Making over America with Trinny and Susannah” last month.  The new TLC program premieres tomorrow on TLC at 10:00pm!  Today, Thursday, August 20th, Trinny and Susannah appeared on Live! with Regis & Kelly to promote their new show!  Their enthusiasm and style trends are infectious!!  We are so excited to have a part in their success.  To see their video footage from Live!, click on the link below!

Below is the Press Release from TLC: The Learning Channel about the “Making over America” and it’s premiere!  The episode that we worked on will be unveiled in the coming weeks.  Stay tuned…

After 15 years of styling thousands of women around the world, Trinny and Susannah are ready to makeover America! Traveling from state to state, these British gurus of style get a healthy dose of Americana while meeting the women who make this country great. Armed with their no holds barred opinions, a healthy dose of tough love and a special box of tricks they’ll stop at nothing to help American women look and feel better about their bodies.

Tune in August 21 @ 10/9c for their premiere show!

TLC: “Making Over America” with Trinny & Susannah

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

I was in a bit of disbelief one day when my caller i.d. listed “TLC: The Learning Channel” on the name description for the incoming call. I will admit that my guilty pleasure is taking in episodes of “John & Kate plus 8″ + “Cake Boss” late into the evening– so I quickly picked up the phone and gave a very welcoming introduction to the voice on the other end. It was Meghan Smith– a producer from TLC– and she needed out help with florals and decorations for an episode of a NEW tv show!! YAY!! How exciting!! The new show is called “Making over America with Trinny and Susannah” and features the Renowned British style experts and the original UK hosts of WHAT NOT TO WEAR Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine. WOW! I’ve seen Trinny & Susannah on Oprah in the past– so of course I was thrilled to be asked to participate in their new tv venture and create some gorgeous florals for the night and party.

The actual event took place this weekend at The Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine on their beautiful pool deck and Sultan’s Pavillion. The TLC producers closed the set to photography (tear)– so I don’t have any pictures to show of our creations from the day– however, I’m very excited to announce that the episode will be rolling out in just a few short weeks and it is airing internationally. I’ll be sure to post information about the schedule for showtimes and when you can catch a peek of the show! Here is an image of the dynamic fashion duo– we’re looking forward to working with TLC again!

OUR WEBSITE IS LIVE!!!

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

For years I have looked in bewilderment at beautiful websites on the internet– and I’ve paid thousands of dollars to have someone else create us sites. I think I’ve had four different websites and a blog in total. I’ve tried to learn different design techniques so I could be in control, but just couldn’t grasp the complexity of the programming, and would give up on a design after only a couple of nights.

Well today, I launched our brand new website that was created by my own two fingers– in just a few short weeks and long nights on the computer. I am completely thrilled with it–and can’t believe that I had complete control of the entire thing! For the first time, I incorporated some unique design elements– and did it all on my own! I love the site– and I am so ecstatic to share it with all of you.

There is still one section under construction, but I couldn’t wait any longer to release it to the world– so here it is for your viewing pleasure. We hope you love it as much as we do! Thanks to David Jay at ShowIt for his amazing creation– and to Jasmine Star for the constant light of inspiration. You guys rock!
